Lokoja — A Public Affairs Commentator and supporter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Abu Michael, has called on residents of Kogi East to rally behind QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman as the district’s candidate for the 2027 Senate elections.

Speaking at a gathering of Kogi East ADC members at a gathering to celebrate the new year in Lokoja, Mr. Abu described QS Aminu as the “best fit” for Kogi East, citing his proven commitment to grassroots development, inclusive governance, and a vision centered on education, healthcare, agriculture, and infrastructure growth.

He emphasized that his representation would help reposition the district to regain its standing among Kogi’s leading constituencies.

The ADC’ Chairman for Bright Minds, Onako Samson, in his remarks, highlighted the party’s progressive agenda, noting its focus on social equity, economic empowerment, and sustainable development.

He urged voters to embrace the ADC’s platform, which he said aligns with the aspirations of Kogi East’s youth and marginalized groups.

The appeal comes amid growing anticipation for the 2027 electoral cycle, with stakeholders urging unity and strategic voting to ensure representation that reflects the district’s needs. Supporters said backing QS Aminu and the ADC would accelerate progress in critical sectors and restore confidence in elected officials.

The campaign is expected to intensify in the coming months, with rallies, town halls, and outreach programs planned across Kogi East to mobilize voters ahead of the polls.
