Kogi DG Land Bureau and Services to engage on recertification of existing land, title revocation.
The Director General,
Kogi State Land Bureau and Services,
TPL Kehinde Augustine Salihu Otaru, has assured that his tenure will bring into place standard practices in the Bureau.
The new Director General made the disclosure in his office, said he would engage on recertification of existing Land allocations, promised bringing in ideas and innovation geared towards repositioning the Bureau for effective service delivery.
The new DG promised standard practices in the Bureau, hinted that he will engage on Recertification of existing Land Allocations by revoking all titles that have not been collected by Land owners since previous administrations till date.
While noting that the need to sanitize the system through recertification has become necessary, maintaining that it will no longer be business as usual in the State in terms of recertification and allocation of land titles.
The Director General reiterated the determination of the administration of Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo to tackle unethical practices in land allocation, recertification, expressed his willingness to engage stakeholders for optimum and fair dealings in land matters.
