Kogi Deputy Speaker thank Gov. Bello for upgrading ONU MEGBA ABACHE, Onu Ejinya, Others.


 

The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa 1 constituency, Rt. Honorable Ahmed Mohammed has expressed his gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for upgrading the stools of traditional rulers of Abache and Ejinya Community in Ankpa LGA to Second Class Status and Third Class respectively.

The Deputy Speaker who spoke when the delegation led by the Onu Megbà Abache, Chief Idris Muhammed paid him a visit in his home, said Governor Yahaya Bello’s outstanding records and relationship with traditional institutions is second to none. He noted that his Excellency has done a lot for chiefs and traditional institutions in Ankpa LGA, by upgrading the Onu Ankpa to first class status, and other chiefs graded and upgraded.

He urged the Onu Megbà Abache and Onu Ejinya to continue promoting peaceful coexistence among the people of their community in order to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the people of the state.

In his words; I want to specially thank Governor Yahaya Bello for upgrading the Onu Megbà Abache my own community chief to Second Class Status and Onu Ejinya to Third Class Status. His recognition to the traditional institutions since inception of this government has played a critical role in arresting many issues within communities, and today’s recognition would further cement the relationship between the people and the government.
