Kogi Deputy Governor Presents NYC National Award to PAAU’s Dr. Atabo Aruwa Julius for Youth and Grassroots Service

The Nigerian Youth Congress, NYC, has honoured Dr. Atabo Aruwa Julius, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration and Deputy Director of Advancement and Linkages at Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, PAAU, for his outstanding contributions to youth development and grassroots advancement.
The National award was conferred on Dr. Atabo during a ceremony held in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, and was led by the NYC National President, Comrade Jethro Anum.
According to the NYC, the award recognized Dr. Atabo’s exemplary leadership, selfless service to humanity, and transformational impact on the welfare of youths across Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
The award was presented by the Kogi State Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo, who commended the recipient for his commitment to service and community development.
In his remarks, Dr. Atabo dedicated the honour to his academic community, friends, and family. He also expressed appreciation to the Vice Chancellor of PAAU, Prof. Salisu Usman Ogbo, for providing an enabling environment and leadership platform that made the recognition possible.
“This award is not just for me, but for the entire academic environment that supports service to humanity and for all youths in Kogi State and Nigeria striving for grassroots advancement,” Dr. Atabo said.
The NYC said the recognition forms part of its ongoing drive to celebrate Nigerians making tangible impact in education, youth empowerment, and community development.
