Kogi COS, donate operational vehicle to local hunters …lauds their bravery over recent rescue of kidnap victims


 

Kogi State State Chief of Staff, Pharm. Abdulkareem Mohammed Jamiu has donated an operational vehicle to the local hunters who rescued last week’s victims of kidnappers.

 

 

It would be recalled that last week Thursday information was circulated about a rescue operation conducted by these local hunters where kidnapped victims numbering 24 were rescued

Represented by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Com. Jerry Omodara, the Chief of Staff while presenting the operational vehicle to the leader of the local hunter group noted that such gesture was to encourage them and also boost their effective operations.

The COS noted that his action was to compliment Governor Bello’s effort which in security which was yielding remarkable result, because of the importance His Excellency has placed on the lives of its citizenry

He further promised them that the government would continue to partner with all relevant stakeholders to ensure a safe and secured Kogi State while it also pledged to support local security outfits in the performance of their duties

In his response, the leader of the Local Hunter Group, lauded Governor Bello’s effort in securing the state.

He affirmed that such mobility would further enhance their performance while promising that the vehicle would be used for its purpose.
