Kogi State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Special Apostle Doctor Adebayo Emmanuel Olaniyan described Unknown Gunmen invasion of Celestial Church blood of Jesus parish killing of two and injured several others as sad.
The State Chairman CAN said the Gunmen in their numbers invaded the church at about eight o’clock yesterday evening who opened fire at members killing two and several others injured at the church premises.
According to the number One Christian in Kogi State the attack is the second coming few weeks after another church was attacked around the corridor of the church Felele Area of Lokoja.
Also speaking the church secretary brother Alonge Shola and the Ayo Alao the celestial church blood of Jesus chapel is located behind the NNPC Mega petrol station in Felele area of the church
According to them the Dead bodies have been recoverd and deposited at the federal medical center with the injured also receiving treatment.
Speaking the Kogi State Commissioner of police described the incident as unfortunate noting that the command is investigating.
