Kogi Begins Promotion Exercise For Civil Servants.

The Kogi State Government has commenced promotion exercise for civil servants who are due in the State.

The Chairman, Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa, made this known in an interview in his Office in Lokoja.

Barr. Tanko said civil servants who are due for promotion in the State are currently undergoing interview following the approval and matching order granted the Civil service Commission by the State Governor, Alhaji to conduct the promotion exercise.

He commended Governor Bello for his commitment at giving civil servants their rightful place in the State, stressed that the promotion exercise was a testament of Gov. Bello’s New Direction led administration in the State.

“What is happening in Kogi State Civil Service Commission is the good gesture of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, who has graciously granted approval to the Commission to embark on a promotion exercise for the teeming civil servants in Kogi State who are due for it

“After being employed on merit, promotion and progression is expected, that is what His Excellency has permitted the Commission under his watch as the Executive Governor of our dear State”

The KSCSC Chairman pointed out that Civil servants in their numbers have been trooping to the Commission for the promotion interview exercise, stressing that the workers are happy with the Governor’s gesture towards them.

“The civil servants are very happy over this development, as the Chairman of this Commission, I see this exercise as a very laudable one and I salute His Excellency for this giant step”

He also commended Civil Servants in the State on the manner they conduct themselves during the exercise, calling on them to sustain their support for the present administration in the State.
