Kogi Assembly Speaker Aliyu Umar Named Patron of ODODO/PBAT Polling Unit Canvassers 2027
Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar, Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, has been conferred as Patron of the ODODO/PBAT Polling Unit Canvassers 2027.
This was the outcome after the group’s Executive visited the Speaker in his office in there efforts at mobilizing Nigerian’s to support and vote for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo in the 2027 General election.
The Speaker praised the work of the Group in mobilizing grassroots support for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo’s 2027 re‑election, describing their mode of operation as laudable.
He urged them to spread awareness of the APC’s interventions and the reforms under President Tinubu, emphasizing the need to reach citizens at the grassroots.

While noting that if not for President Tinubu, who has helped stabilize the country’s economy with major reforms, before the coming of the present administration, the would have sank into depression.
” As you go about in your canvassing of votes for the APC. I will employ you all to let the people know the various interventions of President Tinubu that mark him out as the leader Nigeria needs beyond 2027″.
” Today in Kogi State. The efforts of Gov. Ododo in all sectors has helped reposition the State for prosperity. Kogites must appreciate the need for our Governor to continue beyond 2027 to enable the consolidation of the gains of democracy our people are enjoying “.
In his remarks at the visit, the team lead of
ODODO/PBAT POLLING UNIT CANVASSERS 2027, Thomson Alfa, said they have taken it upon themselves as a selfless service, going from polling units to let Kogites see the reason for continuity beyond 2027″, assured that no stone would be left unturned in ensuring victory beyond 2027 for President Tinubu and Gov Ododo to sustain the trajectory of development”.
