..Says the present State Government begins construction of first flyover in The History Of Kogi State.

The Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria,ALGON,Kogi State Chapter, Alhaji Bashorun Taufiq Isa has said kogi state has commenced construction of the first flyover in the history of kogi state.
In a statement issued by his media Adviser today,Abubakar Suleiman stated that Taufiq appreciated the Executive Governor for considering the plight of motorists and residents of Ganaja,he further said the flyover project will connect the three major roads linking to east, west and South of the country.
According to him, ,” the flyover is intended to ease traffic at the normally congested Ganaja Junction in Lokoja.”.
Taufiq further said that the Governor was opening up the state capital as part of responses to increase the number of vehicles on the road caused by population growth largely instigated by forced migration of families who have permanently settled in Lokoja.
He however called on the citizens of kogi state to rally round rhe Governor to enable him provide more opportunities and meaningful projects that would affect the lives of everybody in the state.
