Kogi AIG lauds Tazan Foundation on commitment to humanitarian causes


 

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 8 Headquarters, Lokoja, AIG Ayuba Ede has commended the Chief Executive Officer of Tazan Foundation for his support towards the security agency and commitment to humanitarian causes in the state.

The Founder of the Foundation who is also the Director of Foreign Affairs and Integration, United Arab Emirate of National Youths Council of Nigeria, NYCN in Diaspora, Tazan Saahibfatiu Onimisi led his team of management to pay a courtesy call on the newly appointed AIG of Police Zone 8 Headquarters, Lokoja.

Receiving members of the Foundation, AIG Ayuba Ede who spoke highly of Tazan Foundation, stressed that it was rare to see youth with the heart of giving selflessly to the needy, and even extending same gesture to the security agencies.

He added that there have been series of positive news and commendation on the activities of the Foundation within and across the state, pleading that the CEO must not be discouraged in this line of endeavor he has taken to pursue, as stressed it is only God that can reward his good works.

He further used the opportunity of the visit to urge youths in the state and the country at large to imbibe the spirit of peace and unity, adding that the security agencies are meant to protect them and not to hunt them, while also adding that the security of life and property in the state and the region he covers will continue to be his top priority.

On his part, the CEO of the Foundation, Hon. Tazan Onimisi congratulated the AIG on his deserving elevation, adding that his experiences with the security agencies are what has inspired him towards rendering services to the agency.

He assured the AIG that he would in his own capacity continue to reach out to youths in the state to cultivate the spirit of peace and remain law-abiding citizens while wishing the AIG the best in his new office.

Tazan further added that, the AIG whose jurisdiction covers Kogi, Ekiti and Kwara has a lot of work to do to ensure peace in those region, as he encourage citizens of the state to belief in the leadership of the state, ably governed by His Excellency, Yayaha Adoza Bello.

He commended the state government for taken security as one of his core priority and also creating enabling environment for businesses to strive.
