Kogi ADC Backs David Mark as QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman Joins Stakeholders’ Meeting
The Kogi State chapter of the African Democratic Congress ADC has passed a vote of confidence in the party’s National Chairman, David Mark, declaring that the state chapter is not involved in any court action against him.
The resolution came during a stakeholders’ meeting at the residence of the National Chairman, attended by key party figures including QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman. The gathering focused on the party’s progress and future direction, highlighting unity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to strengthening the ADC, with participants expressing optimism about achieving their political goals ahead of 2027.
The motion for the vote of confidence was moved by Senator Dino Melaye and seconded by Engr Dr Samuel Ohotu of Kogi Central. Senior ADC members from across the state were also present, including Senator Tunde Ogbeha, Senator Abatemi, Engr Musa Wada, Comrade Usman Okai Austin, Simon Achuba, Alhaji Hassan Enape, Kola Ologbodiya, and other prominent figures from Kogi Central, West, and East.
Members commended the National Chairman for providing clear direction and leadership for the party. Senator Ogbeha emphasized that the state chairmen had distanced themselves from the reported court case, making the vote of confidence both necessary and justified.
The Kogi ADC said the resolution reinforces party unity at the state level as it continues to align with and support the national leadership.
