The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Kogi State congratulated the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and Kogites, and also hails the Governor for his continuous and relentless pursuit for the development in the State.
While Celebrating thirty (30) years of Kogi’s existence, the Deputy Speaker noted that beyond the celebration of Kogi’s creation, it is a time for citizens within and outside the State to reflect on where we are as a State as well as work collectively and in unity to make Kogi State and the Nation greater. He describes Kogites as resilient people, noting that all hands must be on deck in building a peaceful, united, and prosperous state.
Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed commends the effort of Governor Yahaya Bello in making Kogi State one of the safest states in Nigeria, and also in critical areas of Infrastructure. In his words; “Governor Yahaya Bello have shown exemplary leadership by putting in mechanisms for the growth and development of the State. It has been 30 years our state got its creation, to some it seems to be younger but to everyone, we are key players of the moving train”.
I urge every Sons and Daughter’s of Kogi State both at home and abroad, to support the government in repositioning the state as a destination for living, investments, and leisure. The administration of Governor Yahaya Bello had embarked on a number of projects and programmes aimed at ensuring the all-round development of the State, and the various policies of his administration have started to yield positive results. I urged the people not to relent in praying for his administration and he would not fail in delivering on all his promises to the people.
