Hon. Abraham Jacob, a stalwart of the All Progressive Congress in Kogi State, has revealed that the security, infrastructural and human capacity development amongst other legacies of Governor Yahaya Bello and the popularity of the ruling All Progressive Congress in Kogi State, are key factors responsible for the overwhelming acceptance of the Kogi APC gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman alias OAU, across all ethic groups, senatorial zones, tribes and religion in the state.
Abraham who is one of the youngest aides to the Governor, expressed high optimism on the winning chances of the party in the forthcoming November gubernatorial election, stressing that the glaring signatures of the governor across the state has made it possible for even opposition parties within the state to start forming alliance with the ruling party because they can not stand the force for which the party’s candidate is widespread acceptance by all and sundries.
The Permanent Board Member in the state Health Insurance Agency, stated that no governor in the state has matched the Governor Yahaya Bello’s infrastructural standards and legacies.
He maintained that Governor Bello has littered the state with visible capital projects which are not limited to the building of Confluence University of science and technology, Osara, the building of hospitals across the nine federal constituencies, the construction of roads across the state, the construction of Ganaja flyover; a first of its kind in the state, the BelloCare free access to health care across the state, the construction of GYB model science schools across the nine federal constituencies, the construction and equipment of the Kogi state reference hospital, Okene, a world class standard hospital, the rehabilitation of public schools across the state, the engagement of women and youth including people living with special abilities in governance and policy making, the fearless fight against insecurity that has obviously positioned Kogi to be known as one of Nigeria’s safest states.
The purchase and refurbishment of security vans and motorcycles for security agencies in the state. The upgrade of royal stools of traditional rulers across the state.
These and many more according to Abraham Jacob, are the legacies for which Governor Yahaya Bello has made the winning of the party easier and less stressful in the November general election.
He further enjoined those who are still in doubt of the glaring winning chances of APC in the forthcoming election, to wake up from their sleep and face reality and according to him, this reality is the wide margin victory of the party in the November poll.
Ododo as a candidate is doing exceedingly well in terms of consultation across every quarters living no stone unturned. He is moving with the speed of light. His victory will be overwhelming. Ododo candidacy is divine, Hon. Abraham reaffirms.
Abraham thanks Governor Yahaya Bello for using his legacy projects littered across the state to making the winning chances of our party very high while putting opposition parties in heavy fears and disarray because as it stands, they are short of things to campaign against the ruling party under the leadership of our fearless and workaholic democratic Governor.
He concluded by reiterating that Ododo’s candidacy is the true definition of “the Kogi Agenda”. An agenda he describes as the best of all; the one that captures everyone without any oita of sentiments.
While other candidates from opposition parties are busy preaching sectional agenda and sentiments, Ododo and the APC are busy preaching the “one Kogi agenda”. An agenda that knows no sentiments and accommodates all and sundries.
