Kick-starting of Activities: GYB2PYB Youth Support Group Visits Prominent Traditional Rulers Within the FCT.


 

As reported by the Media Assistant to the Director General, GYB2PYB Youth Support Group, Comrade Kelvin Oluseyi Eleta, a delegation was earlier today, led by the Director General, Amb Oladele John Nihi, as he paid a courtesy call on prominent traditional rulers within the FCT to kickstart activities of the organization’s year calendar. The primary objective of the visits was to seek for Royal blessings and to canvas for support as the bid to transfigure Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello to President, continues.

Comrade Abubakar Sediq Ahmed, who played host to Amb. Oladele John Nihi and members of the national team; as the Group’s Coordinator in the Federal Capital Territory, took the delegation on tour of the area, for familiarization and Royal blessings.

A stopover was made first, at the palace of His Royal Majesty, Adamu Baba Yunusa, Ona of Abaji and Chairman of Abuja Traditional Council. The Group was received by the Palace’s second in command, Alhaji A. Ibrahim; who welcomed the GYB2PYB Youth Support Group delegation with enthusiasm and express the council’s readiness to provide all needed support for youth emancipation come 2023. During his address, Alhaji Ibrahim made reference to General Yakubu Gowon, who ruled the country at age twenty-nine, and did exceptionally well during his tenure.

Shortly after the departure from the Ona’s Palace, Amb. Oladele John Nihi and his team proceeded to the palace of the Etsu Yaba, His Royal Highness, Abdullahi Adamu, at Kwali Local Government Area of Abuja. His Royal Highness offered prayers for the success of the Group’s activities, and categorically affirmed that his palace remains the home of Governor Yahaya Bello. His Royal Highness also revealed that his subjects has been observing weekly prayers for Governor Yahaya Bello’s Presidential ambition; the Muslims prays every Friday, and Christians every Sunday to intercede on the Governor’s behalf.

To round up the day’s activities, a final stopover was made at the Palace of the Aguma of Gwagwalada: His Royal Highness, Alhaji Muhammed Magaji, who spent moments narrating the level of cordial relationship between his throne and Governor Yahaya Bello, and also gave the assurance of his willingness to work closely with the Group, to see to the actualization of Governor Yahaya Bello’s Presidential bid.

Amb. Oladele John Nihi expressed a high level of satisfaction, haven been received in high spirits by the traditional rulers; as the GYB2PYB Youth Support Group under his leadership is optimistic of achieving every set objectives.
