The President of Kogi Youth Alliance, Comrade Olufemi Temitope has revealed that the movement plans to confer on Khalifa Abdulrahaman Okene an award of humanitarian service on the occasion of his golden jubilee celebration.
He stated this in an interview with Newsmen declared that the award was in gratitude for the many life changing impact the celebrant has made on human lives.
The celebrant who is an indigene of Kogi State has been described by Comrade Temitope as a peaceful, law-abiding, caring and Godfearing individual who has won the hearts of many by his many acts of kindness.
Top political stakeholders, humanitarian actors and well meaning citizens of the country will be in attendance as history will be made on Saturday, the 19th of December when Distinguished Khalifa celebrates his golden jubilee as he relishes his accomplishment in humanitarian services over the years.
Bouyed by his passion for humanity, the celebrant who is a known philanthropist founded the Khalif Cares Foundation and has touched the lives of many across divides in and around Kogi state through the many humanitarian services carried out by the NGO.
Khalif Cares Foundation over the years, has empowered widows, given scholarship to many less privileged students and catered for disables in many parts of the state.
The occassion which is set to be held at the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja will be chaired by Architect Gabriel Yakubu Aduku and to be hosted by Hajiya Dr. Ramatu Aliyu Tijani, the FCT minister of State, with His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Ado Ibrahim as the royal father of the day and the Executive Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello as the Special Guest of honour.
Among the many highlights of the occasion will be the presentation and official book launch of a book, titled “Khalifa: a biography on the life of Khalifa Abdulrahaman.
