
KGHA Assembly suspends Ibaji Local Government Council Chairman.

Kogi State House of Assembly has suspended the chairman of Ibaji Local Government Area Council of the State over gross misconduct.
The House resolved that the investigation of the allegation of misconduct against the Chairman cannot be done effectively if the chairman in question is still in office, consequently
the House set up a five man committee headed by Bode Ogunmola with others to investigate the matter.
They committee has one month to submit their report.
In the main time, three members of the House have tendered their resignation letters from their respective parties
They are Ibikunle Idowu representing Yagba state Constituency who was the minority leader of the Assembly, was elected under the platform of ADC but now defect to APC.
Hon. Bode Ogunmola representing Ogori Magongo state Constituency, elected under the umbrella of PDP, is currently the Deputy Chief whip of the House
Sunday Daku, representating Bassa State Constituency got to the House through the PDP.
Reading their letters at plenary, the lawmakers said they are compelled to dump their parties due to loss of focuses by their respective parties and monumental achievements of the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
