KGCSDA Lauded for Supporting Science Laboratory Facility, Ventilated-Improved Pit Toilet in Government Science Secondary School Onyedega.


 

 

The Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency has been commended for putting smiles on the faces of Ibaji People.

 

The Eje Ibaji His Royal Highness, Chief John Egwemi made the commendation at Onyedega, when he commissioned a Science Laboratory and Ventilated-improved pit toilet facilities, supported by the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, in the Government Science Secondary School Onyedega.

 

The Eje who was impressed with the efforts of KGCSDA, said the school was almost extinct before the agency’s intervention noted that “the teachers’ population was more than the students” prayed for the General manger and the agency for God’s continued blessings.

The President of the school’s Old Student Association, Barrister Steven Ugbeda, said he was overwhelmed with joy for the agency’s intervention, which has provided a conducive learning environment for the students.

The principal of the school Mr Edino Anthony said the projects were encouraging and would put in his best to make the school one of the bests in the State.

Mr Edino revelled that before the Agency’s intervention, the school had only twenty students, but now they had a population of three hundred and fifty students.

He urged the agency to support more facilities so that they could accommodate more students.

The General manager of Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, Chief Dauda Momoh, in his response said that more would be provided for the school and community in line with the governor Yahaya Bello’s mandate.

Chief Momoh commended the old students for restoring the glory of the school through their numerous projects.

He urged the students to take their studied seriously to justify the Agency’s investments.
