Kelien International Schools Lokoja graduation, speech and prize giving award day ends in style


 

As Environment Commissioner Tasks parents to invest more in academic pursuits of their children, Wards.

 

The graduation, speech and prize giving award ceremony of Kelien International School Lokoja has ended with a call on parents to invest more in the academic pursuits of their children and Wards.

The Commissioner for Environment in Kogi Chief Victor Omofaiye made the call Saturday while speaking at the event. Chief Omofaiye who was the Chairman of the occasion described education as the best legacy any parent can bequeath their children as future leaders.

He commended the proprietor of the school Dr Jude Egbita (ESV) for his vision, applauded the school principal, head teacher and other staff of the school for upholding the standard for academic excellence.

The Commissioner expressed delight at various presentation by both JSS 3 graduates and other category’s of students and pupil who performed well and earned promotion to the next level.

Earlier in his welcome address the founder of Kelien International Schools, Dr Jude Egbita (ESV) thanked God for His hand upon the affairs of the school from the time of inception till now, described the milestone recorded by the School Management as a result of joint cooperation by the teachers, and the parents.

According to Dr Egbita, despite the economic challenges, teachers have sacrificed to ensure that standard and excellence were not compromised.

He advised parents to be focused in the academic pursuits of their children by prompt payment of school fees as at when due as co owners, so that the achievements already attained would be sustained.

He promised that on the part of the management no effort would be spared at reaching the set target.

Also speaking the Principal, Mr Joseph Obadofin commended the proprietor of the school for providing enabling environment for teaching and learning, by adequately equipping the school with latest academic facilities. Mr Obadofin commended parents for their support by promptly paying their wards school fees.

In his good will message the chairman of the Parents Teachers Forum of the school Dcn Simeon Onakpa Ph.D commended the proprietor, and school management for good job, encourage them to do more so that Kelien would maintain its lead in academic pursuits of excellence.

He described the relationship between the management and PTA as cordial, called for it’s sustenance.

The graduation ceremony featured lots of side attraction like dance drama, choreography, Quiz and presentation of certificates, gifts and awards to deserving students and staff.

One staff of the school who would be leaving the school Miss Goodness was specially recognized for her outstanding and Excellent service rendered to the school since she joined the school.
