The human milk of kindness and compassion of Otunba Kingsley Mokikan came to the fore at the weekend when he paid an unscheduled visit to Victory Orphanage Home, Kabba.
Otunba Kingsley Mokikan is the Peoples Democratic Party Chairmanship Candidate for Kabba Bunu in the December 12 Council Polls was in the process of reaching out and consulting with his constituents and the electorates, when he stumbled on Victory Orphanage Home, Kabba.
Moved by the plight of the Proprietor of the Orphanage home who for sometimes had to shirk his responsibilities of catering for the orphans upkeep, Otunba Kingsley Mokikan was moved by empathy, abandoned his Political activities and headed for the market.
The PDP Chairmanship Candidate made purchases of food items and other needs of the home, donated it compassion, promised his continuous support to the home.
For many, this singular action of Otunba Kingsley Mokikan has sparked discussion in Kabba Bunu. To many his action speaks volumes. Many see him as doing the unusual. To many others, if elected as Council Chairman, he would no doubt make positive impact on the lives of his people. No doubt, Otunba Kingsley Mokikan has proven to be a man with charm, loves the poor and vulnerable, represent the kind of leader the people now sought for.
