Kabba Bunu Chairman Thanks Gov. Ododo for Releasing N80m to Fire Victims.
The Chairman of Kabba Bunu Local Government Area, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has expressed gratitude to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, for releasing N80m to traders who lost their wares and buildings in a fire incident that occurred on October 12, 2025.
The fire gutted a shopping complex in Kabba, leaving many traders with significant losses. Gov. Ododo had visited the scene and promised to support the affected traders.
Following a visit by the traders and a letter appealing for help, the Governor released the N80m support fund.
Barr. Dare described Gov. Ododo as a promise keeper and a man of his word, saying the affected traders have received the support, including funds for rebuilding the damaged building.
“Gov. Ododo is the long awaited Angel,” Barr. Dare said, thanking the Governor for his kindness and support. The Igbo community also appreciates Gov. Ododo’s gesture, assuring him of their appreciation in due time.
