Kabba/Bunu APC Campaign team meets party stakeholders, promises to deliver candidates and campaign agenda


 

The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and her campaign council have vowed to sustain all political promises when elected by the people during the 12th December Local government elections. The statement was made unanimously as the team began on Sunday, what it called party stakeholders consultation, during their visit to the honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon Wemi Jones, Security Adviser to the Governor, Navy Commander Jerry Omodara rtd.

At the respective meetings, the party Chairman in the LGA, Hon. Elisa Olorunmosule aka Medusa admonished the leaders on the need to work as a United house towards the election, he charged the leaders to see the election as another opportunity to promote the party at the grassroots. Hon Elisha says the party has constituted the campaign council in the best possible way and in the overall interest of the party and asked all to work with the Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi led campaign committee for collective success of all.

Candidate of the party, Hon Olorunleke Moses thanked the leaders for being accommodating and welcoming, he asked the leaders to rise above personal, political and other primordial issues and join hands to deliver the party. He promised to lead by example and with the fear of God when elected.

The honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology thanked the leader for the visit, he encouraged the people not to disappoint Governor Yahaya Bello in the election. Hon Jones says the party is at a point of decision making and we must join hands together to prosper the lots of the people with good governance. Security Adviser to the Governor and Navy Commander Jerry Omodara says he will continue to be available to support and serve the party at all level, he says he is committed to delivering on all activities and agenda of the party, he enjoined party stalwarts to close ranks for the task ahead of the party.

Speaking at the various event, Chairman of the Campaign Council, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi says Kabba/Bunu is a model for several other LGAs in the state, he says the LGA must definitely demonstrate same in practical terms, using the election as a platform to achieve that. He says he finds himself honoured and humbled to be appointed as the Director General of the Campaign, he promised to serve with honesty, loyalty and commitment. He says the party will deliver on her five cardinal thematic areas of Infrastructural development, Primary education, women and youths entrepreneural empowerment, Health and Security

Present at the meeting aside the hosts and Kabba Bunu Chairmanship Candidate are the Campaign Council Director General and Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters to the Executive Gov Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi, APC State Youth Leader Hon Emmanuel Aledare (Arewa), APC Kabba Bunu party Chairman Hon Olorunmosunle Elisha (Medusa), The party Secretary Hon Charles Olorunmaiye, Hon Kola Arokoyo LGA Youth leader and Transport and Logistics Committee Chairman, Hon Jimoh Kobere Party Chairman APC Egbeda Ward and Chairman Security Campaign Committee and Otunba (Hon) Dare Yomi Johnson Chairman Media and Publicity Committee.
