30 years after the establishment of the Nigerian Television Authority Lokoja, an indigene of the State, Alhaji Yahaya Adams has been redeployed as the General Manager.
Until his redeployment, Alhaji Yahaya was at the Authority’s Headquarters as Assistant Director News/ Current Affairs in Kaduna Zonal Headquarters.
He replaces Abdrasheed Ibrahim who served the Nta Lokoja as the General Manager for less than thirteen months upon his transfer from NTA Kano to replace Alhaji Yusuf Kalani, his successor who has been transfered to NTA Kano.
The current General Manager of NTA Lokoja was among the pioneer staffers of the station, can be described as a man of many parts.
A very religious, sincere and hard-working News Man, the new General Manager of NTA Lokoja, Alhaji Yahaya Adam has both low and higher education within and outside Kogi State, with many believing that he is returning to a familiar terrain to reposition and take NTA Lokoja to its Zenith and pride of place.
Very transparent and a workaholic News Man, the new General Manager, cut his teeth from the cradle, represents the hopes and aspirations of the people, who upon hearing of his redeployment and return have been in a mood of jubilation.
