Politics of the moment seems to have estranged the knowledge and acknowledgment of some person in the cabinet of Governor Yahaya Bello, but without doubt, their is one of them who has transcend beyond the politics of region. He is a man who has defeated sectional compromise, who possessed a detribalised personality….he is Jibrin Momoh, the State Accountant General.
Momoh is from Okengwen Community in Okene local government area of Kogi; his 50 years old, he is an accountant from the prestigious Ahmodu Bello University, ABU, Zaria. A diligent civil servant who rose to the position of a Senior Accountant in the Nigeria Port Authority, NPA;before he was appointed as the Accountant General of Kogi State.
No doubt that Governor Yahaya Bello has layed the foundation for good governance and all that has been done needs nurturing to maturity and stability, and only a man who is part of the giant strides and play key and notable roles is better placed to see to the sustainability and continuity of the legacies.
Momoh is a passionate person, a human and society development driven personality. Young and viable, an astute administrator, competent manager of humans and resources.
Momoh is loyal and reliable, disciplined and diligent, modest and possesses high quality character standard.
A man of impeccable qualities; God fearing, a devoted Muslim, friendly, compassionate, nice, highly and intellectually mobile with sagacious capability; an experienced professional of great exposure , result oriented and a solution crackerjack.
Stupendous in charity and unrepentant in community development and magnanimous in lifting others. A philanthropist to fault who has been nicknamed Mr. Empowerment.
Momoh is a SILENT ACHIEVER!
It is not possible in this write up to put up a comprehensive list of all the deserving projects Momoh has carried out, but attempt will be made to mention very few:
Momoh has been paying an inestimable bills to cushion the peoples well being ranging from medical bills, school fees, personal needs; start up capitals for youth in entrepreneurship and small business owners, women empowerment among other various supports.
As an Accountant General; his community and environs has enjoyed facilitations of notable government projects especially schools and payment of waec fees, youth empowerment through facilitations of appointments, establishment, repairs and drilling of bore holes to ease water scarcity in Okengwe, donations of vehicular gifts to youths, renovation of some equipment with basic amenities and tool to aid quality education, facilitations of water projects, roads etc. facilitation an ultra modern mosque in his community to further established his devotion to the course of his maker and so on.
Obviously, Momoh’s landmark and laudable efforts since he was appointed presupposed the fact that he his a worthy ambassador in Bello’s cabinet in the task of lifting Kogi State to enviable heights.
Administratively Jimoh has justified the the confidence repose on him as the state accountant general having brought to bear stability in the state treasury management and strengthening the economy viability of the state among other brilliant strides which have scored the government excellent credits on the global performance scoring.
Jibrin name has been reverberating as one of those endowed with high quality of impacting on the society good services and humane dispositions that cut across ethnic chauvinism, religious bias, political discrimination and other sentiments.
Momoh has excelled in all frontiers of his application to duties either as civil servant or public office holder. His coming on board met with daunting challenges but he lived up to expectation of surmounting the dumpy pumbs excellently.
Momoh is an all in one full packaged personality diligently serving the state and would do more and consolidate on the legacies of His Excellency, Alh Yahaya Bello. No doubt, Momoh is a prepared replacement for Yahaya Bello come 2024.
