Kogi State Chapter of Jama’atu Nasril Islam has called on Christians in the state to showcase love and sacrifice as exemplified by Jesus Christ.
The Islamic Organization made the call in a press release jointly signed by the State Chairman, Ambassador Usman Bello and Secretary, Alhaji Isa Adeboye in Lokoja today.
The statement described Christmas as a period of sober reflection and stock taking and urged Christians to use the Yuletide period to improve on their relationship with God and people of other Faith for a peaceful Nigeria and Kogi State.
The Statement wished the Deputy Governor, Chief Edward David Onoja and members of the State Executive Council a very exciting Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
