The leadership of Ogori Descendants’ Union (ODU) has aligned itself with the position of its sister body, Magongo Development Association (MDA), reaffirming that Hon. Moses Oke Akande, , our representative in the State House of Assembly is a gentleman.
In a statement signed by the ODU, Engr Gbemi Omole, the union said to the best of its knowledge, Hon. Akande is a peace-loving individual, who has served the Local Government in different capacities.
The statement further said that it is erroneous or a miss judgment to tag Hon. Akande as a terrorist, adding that since he got involved in politics, he has always conducted himself with decorum.
The union pleaded with the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello to rescind it’s decision on the suspension of the lawmaker.
“Hon. Akande is a peace loving person, very humble, resourceful and has the interest of his constituents at heart”, the statement concluded.
