Kogi State – born oil magnate, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Isa Kutepa, Founder, Chairman/CEO of Waltersmith Petroman Oil Limited has promised to assist Federal University Lokoja (FUL) in the areas of quality Medical Education, endowment of Professorial chair in Mining and geology.
Alh. Kutepa made the pledge during a meeting which took place in Lagos. The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Lokoja, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi and Members of the University Managementko today paid Alhaji Kutepa a courtesy call to seek for the support of the renowned Lokoja indigene, entrepreneur and philanthropist.
Alhaji Kutepa promised to also assist in building structures at the Permanent Site of the University Teaching Hospital, while pledging his unalloyed support to the Professor Akinwumi-led Administration in building a 21st Century University.
This far-reaching collaboration is in addition to Management’s visit to the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 81 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General U. T. Musa at Victoria Island, Lagos State.
Speaking, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, said the visit is part of visit to seek the support of indigenes of the State and other well meaning individuals towards building a virile University.
