IPAC Kogi State Elect New Officials, Returns Hon. Musa Ukwenya as Chairman

The Inter Party Advisory Council, Kogi State Chapter has elected new officials to run its affairs for another term.

 

In an election conducted today, Hon. Musa Ukwenya, the State Chairman of the Labour Party was reelected for another term in office.

 

 

Other officials elected to run the State IPAC Include; Hon. Isaiah Felix of Accord Party as Vice Chairman, Onuja S. Umar of People’s Redemption Party as Secretary. Similarly, Muhammed Kabir of the People’s Democratic Party was elected as the Public Relations Officer.

Muhammed Ibrahim Dangana of the NRM was elected as Treasurer, Lawal Aliyu Abubakar of AAC was elected as Assistant Secretary, Victor Ojima Ojo Akubo King of YPP was elected as Legal Adviser, Azziz Arokora of APGA was elected as Financial Secretary while Muktar Atima was elected as Organising Secretary.

 

In a post election speech, the newly elected Chairman, Hon. Musa Ukwenya promised to sustain the existing relationship amongst Political parties in the State, thanked the members for reposing their confidence on him.

In a charge to the new Executives, the Senior Special Assistant to Gov. Yahaya Bello on Inter Party Affairs, Hon. Iliyasu Badanga, commended the orderly conduct of the members at the election, promised to work with them in achieving set objectives.

He praised Gov. Yahaya Bello for creating an enabling environment for Political parties in the State to cohabitate with the government peacefully, promised to sustain the relationship existing between the Political parties and the Government in the State.
