Ahead of the Primaries of Political Parties, the Independent National Electoral Commission has urged Parties to abide strictly by the guidelines.
The Commission in a statement issued in Abuja today, said the Commission would monitor all party primaries, stressed that they must abide by the rules as contain in the Electoral Guidelines.
The Commission warned against kangaroo primaries and other sharp practices that may lead to the nullification of party primaries.
The Commission said it will not accept compilation of names and other sharp practices that would negate the conduct of party primaries.
The Commission assured that it is fully prepared to monitor all primaries, stressing that it would no longer be business as usual, stressed the use of the new electoral guidelines by the political parties.
