In Just Few Months, Gov. Ododo’s Achievements Unprecedented, Yet Under reported”, Hon. Sunday Ogah Charges Media Handlers
Hon. Ogah Sunday from Ibaji Local Government Area has described the achievements of Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo in a short while as unprecedented, but lamented that he is being under reported in the media.
Hon. Ogah made the disclosure after inspecting ongoing renovation work in the Kogi State Government House, urged the media team of the Governor to step their games.
” I’m impressed with the pace of development in the State under the leadership of Gov Ododo. I’m privileged to have gone round the Government House with him and I’m so impressed with what I saw”.
” I’m however pained that the Governor is doing much, yet the accomplishments are not widely publicize”.
” Gov. Ododo was amongst the first to pay above the minimum wage. His attention to the payment of salaries and pension calls for vigorous use of the media”.
” The time for the Media team to start blowing the trumpet of the Governor cannot be overemphasized. He normalized the 100% salary payment to LG workers. He is prompt in the payment of salaries”.
” I’m aware of the several ongoing roads that the administration is constructing. Today, water to Lokoja Metropolis has been restored after the collapse of Greater Water “.
” The payment of WAEC, and other external and internal examination by the administration is quite commendable. Today, education is free in the State with bursary resuscitated for our students”.
” The Media handlers of the Governor need to do more than what they are doing. From past experience, let the media handlers be deliberate and ensure that all the Governor’s achievements made known to the this’.
