I’ll Prioritize Security, Education, Health, Welfare Says Enyida DC Coordinator

The Coordinator of Enyida Development Center Hon. Ruben Edeh has said that his adminstration would prioritize security of lives and property as it remains the bedrock of every meaningful and sustainable development as well as ensure quality education, health care services and welfare of the people of Development center.
He stated this during the ceremony marking his official assumption of office at the Development Center in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
The Coordinator who was deeply overwhelmed with joy, appreciated God Almighty for making it possible for him to be appointed as the Development Center Coordinator, noting that he would run all inclusive adminstration and open door policy aimed at carrying everybody along.
He said he would revive and restore back all the moribund public schools in the area to function and urged teachers to brace-up to their professional calling as the would be reward for those that work very hard.
“Our moribund public schools will be revived and restore back to function. It is in line with this aspiration that I considered worthwhile to procure these educational and sports materials (chalk and football) to distribute to all public primary and secondary schools across this Development Center as my little efforts to complement the good educational and sports policies of our God given Governor and Local Government Chairman as we settle down to work”
“We shall see also procure a set of bands for our schools to come back to life. I want to urge our teachers to brace up to their professional calling as the Development Center will rewarding hardwork”
He enjoined management of every school in the area to synergize with host Communities towards enhancing clean environment and charged villages and Communities to embrace the cleaning policy by extending same to markets and roads.
However, he solicited for the total support of stakeholders and the entire good people of Enyida Development Center to take the center to the enviable height.
He commended Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State for his examplary leadership in the State and for appointing him to serve into such exaltive position in his government, adding that he would reciprocate the gesture by stepping down his peoples’ charter of needs mantra to the grassroots.
In the same vein, the Coordinator applauded the executive chairman of Abakaliki Local Government Area Chief Stephen Ebere Nwogba and indeed stakeholders of the council for demonstrating uncommon love and uniqueness on him and reaffirmed his continue loyalty and dedication towards justifying the confidence reposed on him while assuring never to disappoint them.
On his part, the Executive Chairman of Abakaliki Local Government Area Chief Stephen Ebere Nwogba commended the Coordinator for anchoring his adminstration in God and enjoined him and his wife to make unity their watch word and carry everybody along as well as ensure peaceful coexistence among one another as no meaningful Development would be achieved in the atmosphere of rancour and acrimony.
In their good will messages, the Chairman of the occasion Chief Mike Udenwe, APC chairman in Abakaliki LGA Hon. Paulinus Attam, traditional ruler of Edda Autonomous Community Eze Godwin Nwankwegu, Zonal chairman of headmasters Edda Zone Mr Christain Onwe and Chief Mrs Charity Ikebe all poured an ecomiums on Governor Nwifuru for appointing such political juggernaut into the Development Center and expressed total conviction on his capacity to perform beyond expectation having performed creditably in the previous positions of trust so far held.
They commended Governor Nwifuru for entrusthing youths of the State with sensitive position of authorities to enable them contribute their quotas to the task of building prosperous and better Ebonyi State and prayed God to bless the Coordinator with more wisdom, long life and good health so as to deliver on the mandate given to him.
Mr Emmanuel Idoko, the admin of the Development Center onbehalf of the entire staff assured the Coordinator of their unfliching support and solidarity for the success in his adminstration.
The event featured celebration of holy mass at the DC and climaxed with the distribution of Cartons of white chalk and footballs to both primary and secondary schools across the Development Center..
