Igala students’ President lambast Echocho over poor Representation.


 

The National President of Igala Students Association, Comr. Ocheni Christian Odiba ( Alapa ), has blasted the Senator Representing Kogi East, Alhaji Jibrin Isah Echocho for distancing himself from the plights of students of the district.

Comr. Ocheni in an interview with Thenigerianpost, described the rejection of Igala Students by the Senator as unfortunate, lamented that all efforts to get his attention has failed and is not result yielding.

The National President pointed out that there is no cordial relationship existing between the Senator who seats in the National Assembly as a representative of the people with the youths constituting the majority, says for a representative to outrightly reject all opportunities to reach him, speaks volumes.

The National President of Igala Students Association observed that the#ENDSARS protest recently witnessed across the country was informed by rejection of the youths voices from been heard, pointed out that the Igala Students Association is equally facing same rejection from there representatives.

The National President called on well meaning sons and daughters of the area to note with all seriousness that soon the umbrella body would have no choice but to protest through passing a vote of no confidence on those who do not want there voices heard fingered the Senator as one of them.

The Igala Students Association says it doors are wide open for a cordial relationship through dialogue with the Senator, said the opportunity to retrace steps and prove to the Igala Students that they occupy a vital space in the heart of the Senator Representing them is now and has represented itself again.
