IDAH COORDINATOR OF THE PROGRESSIVE EMPOWERMENT PROJECT FOR NIGERIA WOMEN EMPOWERS WOMEN AND YOUTHS OF IDAH LOCAL GOVERNMENT.
The Idah Local Government Coordinator of the Progressive Empowerment Project for Nigeria Women, Amb. Maryam Hope Abdulazeez has today empowered reasonable numbers of women in idah local government.
Amb. Maryam whom has dedicated her whole life to serving humanity has again displayed her indefatigable spirit, as she facilitated cash empowerment to some women of her immediate constituency, idah.
The empowerment and award giving program was graced by prominent dignitries from Idah and across Kogi State, among the guests was the incumbent Idah local government house of assembly member in Kogi State, Hon. Adejoh Halidu Usman, the senior special assistant to the governor of Kogi State, Hon. Menyanga, the first and immediate past Vice Chairman of Idah Local Government, Hon Zuweriat Aminu Idowu, and that of Igalamela, Hon. Acho of Ajaka, the state coordinator for the Progressive Empowerment Project for Nigeria Women and other local government coordinators, Idah Local Government party chairman and all the executives, former councilors, APC party faithfuls, well wishers to name but few.
The Caretaker Chairman of Idah Local Government, Hon. Amade Egwuda Ochijenu was ably represented.
Amb. Maryam during her speech pleadged her unalloyed commitment to serving the women and youths of Idah Local Government and Kogi State in general, she called on well meaning and patriotic kogites and Nigerians to partner with the Progressive Empowerment Project for Nigeria Women, to enable the association achieve her aim.
She thanked God for making the day possible and all the invited guests for taking time out of tight schedule to have graced the occasion, as she equally charged the beneficiaries to seize the opportunity and make something meaningful out of the little cash that was given to them and finally appreciated the executive governor of Kogi State for his support.
