Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on youth empowerment Kogi West, Amodu Ibikunle Abubakar has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of the 2021 Eid Mubarak celebration while he called on youth to be more dedicated towards the cause of nation building
Hon. Amodu in his message also urged youth to promote National Unity and togetherness noting that only through such effort would peace and stability be guaranteed which were pathways towards socio economic growth for our Nation
He added that youths should imbibe and live out the attributes of sacrifice, faith and selflessness which were the dominant messages of the season as demonstrated by prophet Ibrahim
He admonished individuals to continue to extend hand of generosity to those who are less privileged in the society as all fingers were not equally built adding that beyond wiping the tears of people which attracts reward from the Almighty such act help to maintain societal peace
The SSA lauded Kogi State Governor, for ensuring peace and stability in the state which he noted would facilitate a smooth and hitch free celebration while urging youths to conduct themselves peacefully and not engage in any criminal act before, during and after the celebration.
