The former Secretary, Etsako West Local Government Council, Hon. Zibiri Mohammed has called on the Leadership of PDP at various levels in Edo State, particularly in Etsako West Local Government Area to do a self-appraisal and address all the ill feelings and dissenchantments before embarking on any campaign for 2023 general elections if the party hope to achieve victory at the polls.

He stated this during a stakeholder meeting with former political office holders of Etsako West Local Government Area which was held at Auchi to brainstorm on the way forward in view of the crisis in PDP and the commencement of Campaign for the party and its candidates.

According to Hon. Zibiri, who is also a former Leader of Etsako West Legislative Council, “I won’t jump into PDP campaign because there are numerous issues that need to be addressed and resolved if PDP must have an effective campaign. Apart from the problem of the obvious division in the party, there are a lot of other internal wranglings, anger, disaffection, frustration, disenchantment and disappointment among critical stakeholders and grassroot mobilizers of the party.

He further lamented the total neglect of his ward in the current government dispensation where no meaningful appointment, project, or patronage has been extended to the ward and those that labored vigorously to enthrone the current PDP Government in Edo State.
