
The Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission, HYPPADEC, is constricting 30 blocks of classrooms in the ten LGAs covered by HYPPADEC in Kogi State.

The State Coordinator of HYPPADEC, Engr. Mrs. Joan Oguche made the disclosure when she paid a working visit to Hon. Wemi Jones, Kogi State Commissioner For Education, Science and Technology, explained that the Commission is constructing a block of 3 classrooms with offices and restrooms in the 10 LGA covered by HYPPADEC in the State.

The Kogi State Coordinator of HYPPADEC, said the visit is to seek partnership in the fulfilment of one of the Commission’s goal, geared towards Improved access to social services.

The State Coordinator lauded the achievements of the present administration under the leadership of Gov. Yahaya Bello in the education sector, praised the efforts of the Commissioner for driving the vision of the State Government.
Hon. Wemi Ojo Jones, Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, appreciated the Commission for the initiative of increasing the number of classrooms in their cover areas.
Like Oliver twist, the Commissioner noted that the State is always open for more intervention by the Commission, assured of a cordial working relationship between the Ministry and the Commission.
