Com Abdullahi Adamu (CAA) salute the ever conscious Kogi State Youths, particularly the Youths in Lokoja Local Government Area for choosing the alternative channels of engaging with the government as against the confrontational channels we are witnessing in many States.
We must acknowledge that in Kogi State, the younger generation have continuously been given pivotal roles in governance and a place in the decision making table hence the overwhelming confidence in His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. This progressive trajectory has given us hope and confidence that Kogi State will continue to be better and prosperous.
Deploying a transparent and inclusive approach, the Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo government has made it easy for youths to engage in constructive and respectful dialogue with government and society.
In hindsight, we are better for it as Kogi is not witnessing the violent protest across the country that is causing harm, loss of lives, disruption of social life and damage to both private and public properties.
I commend our Youths for choosing Peace and constructive dialogue over confrontations.
I commend the Kogi State government for the continuous dialogue with all stakeholders especially the Youths.
