HUNDREDS OF PDP MEMBERS DEFECT TO APC IN ADAVI
Hundreds of Grassroot mobilizers and members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Adavi-Eba Community have formally decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC) to work for the party ahead of the November Governorship election in Kogi State.
The said party members decamped after meeting with the council chairman in Adavi-Eba where they stated their reasons which was centered on unity, progress and oneness.
They also acknowledged that the aforementioned can be easily identified with the All Progressives Congress under the leadership of the state leader, His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello.
The Council chairman welcomed them and promised to make sure they have no regret moving to the ruling APC.
He assured that they have taken the right steps and toed the path to success which is victory in politics.
“With the faces here today, I can bodly say anywhere and anytime that Adavi-Eba is 100% secured for APC”, Hon. Joseph Omuya remarked.
The members who spoke in separate remarks attested to the victory ahead for the party and her candidate.
“We have decided to decamp to the All Progressives Congress to join hands with the existing structure and work for the party’s candidate, Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo.”
Among those who Decamped are; Former Councilors & one-time State Assembly member candidate of People’s Democratic Party, Hon. Jojo, Women leaders, Youth leaders, and hundreds of PDP mobilizers across eleven wards in Adavi LGA.
