HRH Oba Ibitayo Faleke, the Olu of Iyah Gbedde and the Oba in Council, has sent a congratulatory message to the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo on his Successful Inauguration and swearing in as the 5th democratically elected Governor of the State.
Oba Ibitayo described
the successful swearing and inauguration of Gov. Ododo, as eventful in view of the large turnout of personalities that graced the occasion, which described the acceptance the Governor received from the people of the State as an indication of a new dawn for the State.
While wishing Gov. Ododo, a very successful tenure in Office, the Traditional Ruler, expressed confidence in his ability to deliver democracy dividends to the people of the state.
Oba Ibitayo was upbeat that a new dawn has set in for the people of Kogi State, assured the Gov. Ododo of the unflinching support and cooperation of the people of his community and the entire Ijumu LGA.
While he wished Gov. Ododo a positive transformation that will bring smiles on the faces of the people of the State, Oba Ibitayo expressed his sincere thanks to Gov. Ododo for the appointments of some illustrious sons of his community and Ijumu LGA into his cabinet.
Oba Ibitayo used the statement to also congratulate all the newly appointed officials in the government of Gov. Ododo expressed confidence in the ability of the appointees to discharge their duties effectively.
Oba Ibitayo mentioned the appointment of Hon. Sunday Faleke, the Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Hon. Oladele Nihi, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Hon Alh. Ibrahim Haruna, Ijumu LGA Transition Committee Chairman, Hon. Daniel Agbona, the Transition Committee Secretary Ijumu LGA, who he described as worthy sons of the area, assured Gov. Ododo, that they would all justify their nomination and appointment.
Similarly, Oba Ibitayo congratulated all other appointees by Gov. Ododo in the State and described the cabinet as a solid team that would help in delivering on the present administration mandate.
