House of Representatives aspirant for Idah Federal constituency in the next year race, Hon. John Ibrahim said he is vying for the seat under the platform of the opposition People’s Democratic Party with five points agenda and resting on three foundations.
Hon. John Ibrahim , an illustrious Son of Ibaji local government area while Fielding questions from newsmen in Lokoja, the state capital, said he is totally prepared to provide roboust engagement to his Federal constituency if voted -in come 2023 election.
”i have a personal target to engage my constituents four times in a year of the four local government areas which made up Idah Federal constituency”
The federal lawmaker hopeful said transparency in the delivery of constituency projects will be the nub of his representation regretting that contrary to what is happening at moment where projects meant to serve citizens are diverted to personal enrichment.
His words: I have two projects .that i will pursue vigorously if given the opportunity to serve as a lawmaker,the road linking Onitsha the commercial hub of South east through Ibaji to Abuja woul be facilitated through public- private –
partnership engagement.
Honourable John Ibrahim stressed that since governments had decided not to construct the strategic road project due to the fact that it is not in their priority lists insisted that he will be evolving a different agenda to get started on the deplorable road.
He reeled out that ten brilliants Youths and Women would be raised from his constituency to Abuja and placed them in a strategic positions that in the period of ten to fifteen years they would plagued back their successes to their various communities.
Hon. John Ibrahim maintained that he has a plan for the actualisation of the development of the Oil mineral resource that exists between Ibaji and igalamela communities through privately funding stating that he will deployed his thirty years knowledge and experience to bear to ensure the exploration and exploitation in the oil sector to make it happen.
Hon. John Ibrahim assured the citizens of his resolved to provide effective and sound leadership and representation added that his five points agenda which are, roboust engagement, Transparency,Youth, Women, less privileged groups ,
Construction of Onitsha-Ibaji-Abuja federal road and Youth engagement.
