Hon. Umar Yahaya, the Member Representing Omala State Constituency and Chairman of the Committee on Housing, Infrastructure, Job Creation, and Communications, has expressed his gratitude to the Kogi State Government for its approval of new classroom construction and the renovation of existing ones in Omala Local Government Area.

Hon. Umar commended the efforts of the Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board (KG-SUBEB), Engr. Abdulrazak Yusuf, for fulfilling his commitment to improving the state of education in the state. The approved projects include the construction of new classrooms and the renovation of existing Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) primary schools in several communities, including Oji-Aji, Icheke Ogane, and Ojuwo-Ajimade, among others.

“Following the approval for the construction of new classrooms and the renovation of existing LGEA primary schools, I want to thank my friend, Engr. Abdulrazak Yusuf, for keeping his promises to ensure quality education in my constituency and Kogi State at large,” Hon. Umar stated.

He emphasized the importance of both well-trained teachers and a conducive learning environment, stating, “Good teachers and a school environment make a difference in pupils’ learning.”

The initiative is expected to boost education standards across Omala LGA, furthering the government’s efforts to enhance learning conditions for pupils in the state.
