Hon. Taufiq Isa Declares No Vacancy in Lugard House Come 2027 as He Hosts SSAs to Gov. Ododo in Ijumu Local Government

The Forum of Senior Special Assistants to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in Ijumu Local Government paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Taufiq Isa, Director-General, Kogi State Infrastructure Management and Compliance Agency (KUIMCA) and former Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government.
The visit was a token of appreciation for Hon. Taufiq’s all-time support for their principal and to felicitate with him on the new SUV gifted to him by His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

During the visit, the Forum, ably led by Hon. Obademi Samson, SSA Public Relations, Kogi West to Governor Ododo, expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Taufiq for his unrelenting backing of their principal. The SSAs also promised to offer esteemed support to Hon. Taufiq, whenever needed, in as much as he continues to render his usual loyalty to the system.
The Chairman of the Forum of SSAs in Ijumu Local Government highlighted other strategic needs of the forum members that are not for public disclosure.

Hon. Ojo Ayeye, who represented Ijumu Arin, extolled the virtues of loyalty to the right person, while Hon. Kayode Esemikose, SSA Grassroots Mobilization to Governor Ododo, who spoke for Gbede District, lauded Hon. Taufiq’s consistency in the political system of Kogi State, from the onset.

Hon. Kamaldeen Toyin, SSA Local Contents to Governor Ododo, who spoke for the SSAs from Ijumu Oke District, expressed his profound admiration for the two successful All Progressives Congress (APC) outings in Aiyegunle Gbede, Ijumu local government and Isanlu, Yagba East local government, where Hon. Taufiq Isa was the Chairman of the Planning Committee.
He noted that the attendant signals were sent to Mr. President, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Bola Tinubu, and the people of Kogi State indicate that there are no vacancies in both Aso Rock and Lugard House, in tune with the declaration of the Kogi State political leader, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Kamaldeen added that there is no doubt that, the remaining outings in other Senatorial Districts will record another outstanding success.
In response to the messages delivered by the SSAs from the three traditional districts in Ijumu Local Government, Hon. Taufiq expressed delight at the unplanned courtesy visit by the aides of his principal, noting that it shows that Governor Ododo’s employment of highly matured and capable-minded personalities as SSAs in Ijumu.

Hon. Taufiq reiterated his staunch commitment to the political and administrative success of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
He further declared that anyone planning to occupy Lugard House come 2027 should exercise patience until 2031, citing the declaration of the Kogi State supreme political leader, the “White Lion,” during the 2025 Ogidi Day Festival that there is no vacancy in both Aso Rock and Lugard House.

In a display of good leadership , Hon. Taufiq appealed to the Honourable SSAs to work with his successor, the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Haruna Ibrahim.
In conclusion, Hon. Oshe Bolarinwa John, SSA Recycling and Sustainability to Governor Ododo, on behalf of Hon. Taufiq’s political family in Ijumu Local Government, appreciated his fellow colleagues and described their move as a strategic effort to harmonize the All Progressives Congress in Ijumu Local Government.
