Hon. Sunday Ogah Describes Gov. Ododo As Security Conscious Leader, Mobilizes Hundreds to Attend Community Engagement Workshop in Kogi.
Hon. Ogah Sunday, Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Service and Founder, ODODO is OK Movement as well as the Co-Founder, Hon Uchola Ojogbane Omale APC Chieftain, yesterday mobilized hundreds of his members to attend a Community Workshop and Inauguration of Community-Based Peace Structures in Kogi.
The event brought together more than 2000 stakeholders from the 21 Local Government Areas of Kogi for the inauguration of the peace structures in the state.
Hon. Ogah mobilized Coordinators of Ododo is Ok Movement from the the Senatorial Zones to welcome the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Community Engagements, Mrs. Essiet Abiodun to Lokoja.
The Special Adviser to Gov. Ododo described Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo as a security conscious leader, pointing out that he has used the tool of engaging Young people to be part of activities of the administration.
He described Gov. Ododo’s administration as one that has made inclusivity cardinal, maintain that the Governor’s approach has contributed largely to peace in the State.
He expressed appreciation that the feat made in making Kogi, most peaceful State in the country, largely informed the flag of engagement o of the North Central States in Kogi.
Hon. Ogah maintained that unity, openness and solidarity are key to achieving lasting peace in Nigeria, commended Gov. Ododo for meeting with the yearning and aspirations of the people of the State.
The Special Adviser urged for sustained and lasting peace in all communities and in Nigeria as a whole, added that Kogi State under the administration of Gov Ododo has taking the lead.
While noting that one of the objectives of Ododo is Ok Movement is sustain dialogue, strengthen community voices and ensure that peace-building efforts translate into tangible improvements in infrastructure, security and livelihoods, described the engagement as one that is coming at a better time.
Hon. Ogah reaffirmed Gov. Ododo’s administration’s commitment to securing peace across the state, commended his ongoing efforts geared towards riding communities of criminal elements in the State.
He also appealed to youths to shun crime and embrace hard work, describing it as the only path to sustainable success.
The Special Adviser commended Essiet for her commitment to promoting peace and security in Kogi and the North Central region.
