………inspires far-reaching resolutions
Within the past three weeks, Member representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency of Kogi State and Chairman of Nigeria/Russia Parliamentary Group, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim MHR; had strategic meetings with the Nigeria/Russia Chamber of Commerce, the Nigeria/Russia Business Council and the Russian Embassy.
At the meeting with the Nigeria/Russia Chamber of Commerce, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim as the Chairman of the Nigeria/Russia Parliamentary Group, engendered “far reaching resolutions that if adopted will greatly impact positively on the trade relations between Nigeria and Russia”. The meeting happened in his office in National Assembly in the first week of this month, February 2022.
Last week Tuesday, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim also hosted in his office at National Assembly, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode SAN. Prince Adetokunbo SAN is a former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, a former Minister of Defence and currently the President of Nigeria/Russia Business Council. Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, in the course of the meeting was intimated about “the tremendous progress the Nigeria/Russia Business Council is making under the able leadership of Prince Adetokunbo Kayode SAN.”
Tuesday this week Also, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim in his capacity as Chairman of the Nigeria/Russia Parliamentary Group visited the Russian Ambassador to Nigeria. They discussed extensively about “improved diplomatic relations between Russia and Nigeria.”
