Honourable Shaba Ibrahim, @shaba Ibrahim a former Member of the House of Representatives member remains a beacon of visionary leadership and grassroots representation in the history of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency. During his time in office, particularly within his first two years, Hon. Shaba distinguished himself by securing numerous federal appointments for constituents, empowering many families and youths through gainful employment and capacity-building opportunities.
Beyond appointments, his administration made significant strides in infrastructure development initiating and completing vital community projects, providing access to potable water in underserved areas, and facilitating the enrollment of many constituents in key federal social investment programs. His commitment to inclusive governance and the socioeconomic upliftment of his people was evident in both words and actions.
Today, as his successor nears the end of two years in office, the story is quite different. Not a single federal appointment has been facilitated for the people of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, and there is little to show in terms of tangible development or programmatic impact. This glaring absence of progress only amplifies the value of *Hon. Shaba Ibrahim’s* contributions during his term.
