The member representing Ofu in Kogi State House of Assembly, Honourable Seidu Amodu has appealed to Muslims to renew their spirit in total obedience to the will of Allah.
The lawmaker who made the appeal at the Eid praying ground, Itobe, told the congregation to follow the good example of the prophet.
He charged the Muslims to use the period to ensure patience, holiness and love which are the hall marks of the celebration.
Hon Seidu admonished the people to equally reflect on the relevance of the festive period with a view to living according to quranic injunctions.
The lawmaker congratulated the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the legislature, leaders and opinion moulders as they celebrate, calling for more of God’s blessings in the period ahead.
Alhaji Seidu promised to remain a servant leader who will always be accountable, assuring that he would not compromise effective representation of the constituency.
Recall that Alhaji Seidu Amodu recently won the Primary election of the All Progressives Congress, APC to return to the office for a second term.
