By joshua Hon. Oluwakayode Emmanuel Eseyin Hails First Lady Oluremi Tinubu’s Patriotic Call for Collective Action Against Poverty
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) State House of Assembly Candidate for Kabba/Bunu Constituency I, Hon. Oluwakayode Emmanuel Eseyin (K12DNEXT OMO’ARA), has commended the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her courageous, compassionate, and visionary call on well-meaning Nigerians to actively partner with government in the fight against poverty, hunger, and other humanitarian challenges confronting the nation.
Hon. Eseyin described the First Lady’s appeal to distinguished Nigerians, captains of industry, philanthropists, corporate organizations, and globally celebrated entertainers such as Davido, Burna Boy, and others as a bold demonstration of purposeful leadership and a clear recognition that the task of nation-building demands collective responsibility.
According to him, no government, regardless of its commitment and capacity, can single-handedly eliminate poverty without the support and active participation of patriotic citizens who have been blessed with the resources, influence, and platforms to positively impact society.
“Her Excellency’s appeal is both timely and profoundly inspiring. It reflects the compassionate spirit of leadership that places the welfare of the people above all else. The fight against poverty is not the responsibility of government alone; it is a national assignment that requires every privileged Nigerian to contribute meaningfully to improving the lives of the less privileged.”
Hon. Eseyin noted that history has consistently shown that sustainable national development is achieved when government, the private sector, development partners, faith-based organizations, entertainers, and public-spirited individuals work together in pursuit of a common purpose.
He further stated that the First Lady’s humanitarian disposition continues to complement the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by promoting compassion, social inclusion, and shared prosperity across the country.
As a passionate advocate for grassroots development and people-centered leadership, Hon. Eseyin pledged his unwavering support for every genuine initiative championed by the First Lady to uplift vulnerable Nigerians. He reaffirmed his commitment to expanding community-based empowerment programmes, youth development initiatives, educational support, and humanitarian interventions across Kabba/Bunu Constituency I.
