Hon. Muktar Atima has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for the All Progressives Congress.
In a letter of resignation he signed and issued to Thenigerianpost, Hon. Muktar says he dumped the PDP to pursue a better political career.
Until his resignation, Hon. Muktar was a staunch follower of the Kogi PDP Central Senatorial District Candidate, Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan in the last National Assembly Election.
Hon. Muktar was a one time State Chairman of the Social Democratic Party when Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan contested the 2019 Governorship on the platform of the SDP.
Hon. Muktar was a founding member of the APC at inception, worked with the late Prince Abubakar Audu/Hon. James Faleke ticket in the 2015 governorship.
A one time Secretary of Okehi LGA during the tenure of Capt. Idris Wada, the prominent politician from Okehi LGA, bids the PDP good-bye, promised to work for the success of the APC.
