HON. MUHAMMED SANNI GAMBO, CHAIRMAN, KOGI STATE PDP CHAIRMAN MOURNS DEATH OF MADAM ALICE ONOZARE SALAWU, JP.

On behalf of the entire Members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi State, I Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, Kogi State Chairman, extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Dr. Phillips Omeiza Salawu, former Deputy Governor of Kogi State 2003–2012, and the entire Salawu family on the passing of their beloved mother, Madam Alice Onozare Salawu, JP.
We received the news of her transition with great sorrow, knowing the void her departure leaves behind. Madam Alice Onozare Salawu lived a life defined by motherhood, discipline, and service to community. As a mother, she nurtured with love, guided with wisdom, and raised children who went on to serve the state with distinction.
As a disciplinarian, she upheld values of integrity, hard work, and respect — virtues that shaped the character of all who came under her care.
As a community developer, her impact was felt beyond her immediate family; she was a pillar whose presence brought people together and whose counsel was sought by many.
Her life was one of quiet strength and consistent positive impact. The legacy she leaves will continue to speak through the lives she touched, the values she instilled, and the example she set for generations to come.
We pray to God Almighty to grant Dr. Phillips Omeiza Salawu, the entire Salawu family, and all who mourn her the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May He comfort you, strengthen you, and grant Mama eternal rest in His bosom.
Please accept the sympathy of the Kogi State PDP family at this difficult time. We stand with you in prayers.
Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo,
Chairman, Kogi State Peoples Democratic Party
