He made the passionate appeal for peace and decorum ahead of the forthcoming Kogi Council elections pointing out that the critical role local government elections play in shaping grassroots governance and development cannot be overemphasized.
He further stressed the need for all political actors in the region to uphold democratic values, by ensuring that the electoral process is peaceful and devoid of violence.
He called on the people to vote for candidates of their choice without fear of intimidation.
