The lawmaker representing Yagba Federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide mourns the death of the His Royal Highness, Oba Olamojin.
The late Olamojin was the paramount ruler of the good people of Ejiba in Yagba West local government area of Kogi state.
Hon. Leke expressed grief over the demise of a First Class King Oba SB Olamojin, the Elejiba of Ejiba, he also extended his condolences to the Royal Family of the monarchy, the Council of Elders, the good people of Ejiba and the Traditional Council of Yagba West.
Hon. Leke said “I received with grief the passing of one of the first-class rulers in Yagba West. The deceased was a peacemaker, an admirer, a support system and a rallying point not only for the good people of Ejiba but for Yagba as a whole.
“HRH Oba SB Olamojin did a lot to promote peaceful co-existence, he was also instrumental to the peace recorded in Ejiba and Yagba West during his reign”.
“His death is hard to take especially at a time like this when we needed sincere and experienced elders to give leadership in moments like these. Ejiba community, Yagba West, and indeed Kogi State will miss a man of great wisdom, a committed leader of his people, a stabilizing force, and a man of peace”.
While encouraging the Royal Family and the people of Ejiba to accept the demise of the late Royal Father, Oba SB Olamojin as the will of God, Abejide challenged them to keep his legacies alive and continue to imbibe his good virtues.
Hon. Leke condoled with the Royal family, the people of Ejiba and the Traditional Council of Yagba West, he prayed that his soul rests in peace and the people of Ejiba community be comforted at this time to deal with the loss.
